“Efficient Construction Through Digital Technologies”
Empowering Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the Construction Industry
The construction industry faces critical challenges:
  • Embracing digital transformation to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Fostering collaboration across all phases of construction projects.
  • Attracting and training the next generation of skilled workers and entrepreneurs.

As demand for quality housing soars, the need for affordable, sustainable, and efficient construction solutions is greater than ever. Digital technologies are the key to unlocking faster
planning, reducing costs, and improving quality. Did you know:

  • 30% of planning time can be saved with the right digital tools.
  • Up to 25% of construction costs in one- and two-family homes can be eliminated through better self-coordination.

Digital innovations also help identify and mitigate risks early, improve coordination, and enable energy-efficient and environmentally responsible construction.

To address these challenges, the DIG-CON Project, a three-year EU-funded initiative, brought together eight partners from Finland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, and Poland. Together, we:

  • Identified best practices for using digital technologies and fostering collaboration in construction.
  • Designed and tested SME-specific training programs to teach digital skills, cooperation strategies, and entrepreneurial competencies.

We are thrilled to share the results and insights of this transformative project in two engaging
online conferences.
