Result 2: Train the Trainer Programm

The Train the Trainer programme aims to empower teachers and consultants in the construction and finishing trade to teach digital skills to SMEs. Many educational institutions and consultants in countries such as Germany, Latvia, Poland and Hungary are not yet sufficiently prepared for the digital transformation. The programme fills this gap by imparting knowledge and skills for the successful use of digital technologies and for implementing digitally supported cooperation.

The three-day programme includes detailed curricula and teaching materials based on industry best practices. The aim is to qualify teachers and consultants so that they can support SMEs in efficiently implementing digital solutions. Another focus is on introducing online consulting for SMEs and installing a digitisation officer to provide companies with continuous support during the digital transformation.

Teachers and consultants will be able to develop and implement high-quality educational and consultancy programmes for SMEs thanks to intensive training courses based on results such as the ‘Best Practices in Digital Technologies and Training’. This measure will sustainably strengthen the educational landscape and promote the digital development of the construction industry.
