Result 2: Train the Trainer Program & capacity building

The train-the-trainer programme prepares teachers and advisors in the construction industry for digital skills and technologies. They acquire practical knowledge to support SMEs in implementing digital solutions and collaborations. The Train the Trainer program, which will be implemented on an ongoing basis by 24 colleges and universities from 13 countries, will significantly strengthen the capacities of training providers and SME sponsors. In Germany and Hungary, additional measures to develop SME support capacities were successfully developed and implemented, leading to the following additional results:

  • Online SME consulting in the Digitization in the construction industry
  • Digitalisation Officer for SMEs
  • Craft Lab of the Schwerin Chamber of Crafts
  • Improvements in cooperation between architects and construction companies

The activities to strengthen promotional and advisory activities in Germany and Hungary are also reported in German and Hungarian.
